How to get in Bukoba
Bukoba is located between the gorillas in Uganda
and Serengeti in Tanzania. If you are coming to Kagera, you can
travel in a variety of ways. Let us make the bookings for you
by air, boat, railway, bus or private car.

By Air
Visitors to Kagera region can travel through Entebbe airport (EBB)
in Uganda (with BA, Emirates KLM and SN Brussels). From Entebbe
Airport one has to travel to Kampala, where you can get a bus
to Bukoba (takes about 5 hours) or us to pick you up.
There are a number of scheduled flights into Bukoba with at least
one flight every day from Mwanza with Precision Air. There are
also flights into Mwanza everyday from Kilimanjaro and from Dar
es Salaam International Airports largely serviced by Air Tanzania
the National Airline. The Airport at Bukoba is, however, small
and therefore caters for only small aircrafts. Plans to expand
the airport are in the pipeline.

Boat and Railway
Lake Victoria has a number of ports and harbours. Bukoba alone
has two of them namely Bukoba and Kemondo Bay. Book the daily
fast ferry between Bukoba and Mwanza or book the night ferry scheduled
three times a week between Bukoba and Mwanza.
There is the Tanzania Central Railway line which connects Dar
es Salaam to Mwanza. The railway and harbors authorities fall
under one administrative body. We can make the booking for the
boat as well as the train.
By Road
Bukoba can be reached by road in one day from either Nairobi (Kenya)
or Kampala (Uganda). The Great Eastern attractions namely Mountain
Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro Crator and Serengeti National Parks are
all within 400 Km of Bukoba.
